Victoria Pilato (MSLIS, Library and Information Science – The Palmer School of Library and Information Science, LIU; BFA in Printmaking – State University of New York College at Buffalo). In her advocacy of responsible digital accessibility and data management, Victoria brings a unique blend of ethical and technical expertise. She is the Digital Projects Librarian at Stony Brook University where she creates and manages digital collections for public access. With a strong understanding of copyright law, privacy, and moral rights, she is committed to ethical data use and participant rights. She is passionate about amplifying the voices of underrepresented researchers and communities through digital platforms. Her efforts to ensure that feminist knowledge and experiences drive positive social change align perfectly with our mission of promoting, sharing, and preserving stories to support transformative gender equity and climate justice.
